Introducing a fun project by Mr. Riggs – our first Sangiovese which we have lovingly nicknamed ‘SANJO’. When the opportunity came up to purchase a small batch of Sangiovese fruit from the ‘Amadio’ vineyard in the Adelaide Hills, we just couldn’t resist.
A medium bodied red with dark cherry and red currant undertones. A very smooth wine that will have you wanting more.
No wine suits food better than Sanjo, our food matching tip for our meat lovers is pork and veal meatballs, and for vegan friends smoky eggplant and porcini ‘meatballs’.
