Chilly long weekends in the Adelaide Hills calls for fires, cheese and wine.

Currently drinking the 2012 Scarce Earth Shiraz (now known as Burnt Block Shiraz) and it’s now starting to show notes of earth and leather and super smooth tannins.

Happy Friday 🔥🧀🍷

Well, we made it back to @mclaren_vale and straight back to work in the winery.

Thanks for having us Melbourne, keen as to catch up at the next @goodfoodwine! Cheers 🍷

Hey Melbourne!

We’re here and ready to roll for @goodfoodwine for the next three days.

Come by and say hi to Baxter and Sarah and have a taste of some our wines 🍷

Here it is, cold, windy, wet winter. It’s time to stoke those fires, pour yourself a glass of red, and cosy on up with a good book or show.
We’re looking forward to plenty more winter #momentswithmrriggs 🍷 🔥

It’s International Chardonnay Day, which means it’s time for a Chardy Party 🎉

What’s you’re favourite Chardonnay to show off and share?

If we’re not sharing a bottle of Cold Chalk Chardonnay, it’ll be a @williamfevre_chablis 😍

“Ben Riggs is one of the best known winemakers of McLaren Vale, he’s been making wine there all of his career. The initials J.F.R. in this wine stand for John Frederick Riggs who is the winemaker, Ben Riggs’ father so it’s a tribute to his father.

It's Sangiovese weather!

Have you tried our Sangiovese - Sanjo?

Still in the first release, we were given an incredible opportunity to purchase the fruit from the Amadio vineyard in the Adelaide Hills and we just couldn't resist.

This red wine is light to medium bodied with dark cherry and red currant undertones. Bright, fresh and fruit driven with fine tannins on the finish.

Sanjo is very much a food wine, and our food matching tip for our meat lovers is pork and veal meatballs, and for our vegan friends smoky eggplant and porcini ‘meatballs’.

Made to drink now.

Each year we release a select range of cellared wines to you and today is your final chance to purchase from our Annual Museum Sale.

Ben tasted through a huge range of the wines we have released and was happy to see how well they are drinking now.

Don't miss out, this sale only comes around once a year. Head to the link in our bio purchase now!
